Primary School Curriculum continued

Enterprise is an interwoven component throughout all areas of the curriculum at all Key Stages.

The Academy is equipped with a large number of computers on a single, high specification network. Pupils are expected to become responsible and discerning users of ICT confident and able to use computers to communicate with others and support their learning in a variety of ways. Teachers will use ICT as a resource for information, as a means of teaching and demonstrating and also as a way of monitoring pupil progress.

Whilst it is not essential for pupils to have access to a computer at home, it will be advantageous to be able to access the Internet outside of the Academy so that pupils can continue to access Academy systems in support of their learning and this is a very important part of the Academy ethos.
