Homework continued

All students have an Academy Student Planner in which to record their homework and giving details of the homework timetable.

This homework will consist of:
• exercises and tasks set by the teacher;
• work that the student needs to do in order to improve his/her performance such as extra reading, more practice exercises and end of topic learning.

On average students are expected to complete one and a half hours of homework each night in Year 7. This time increases in Years 8 and 9.
